A cupcake is a small cake designed to serve 1 person, usually made in a small paper cup container. As with larger cakes, frosting and cake decorations, such as sprinkles, are often applied. Cupcakes are often served during a celebration, such as weddings. Cupcakes were first invented in the early 1800s. To me, the lil cupcake is made with love, sprinkled with a handful of sweetness & along with it, a tinge of happiness to the one receiving this small cup of love!
